Man Mo Temple

Yesterday the girls and I decided we would visit the nearby Man Mo Temple.  

Man Mo temple is a Taoist temple dedicated to the the god of learning (Man) and the god of war (Mo).  Sadly for us the temple was being renovated while we visited, but none the less an interesting place.  

From the rafters hung dozens of incense coils that seem to be continuously burning, after a while they can really dry out the eyes.  That much burning incense offers an assault on the olfactory senses that cannot be escaped.  Juliette kept mentioning how much it smelled in there and asking to leave.  Amélie at time seemed to be perplexed by the goings on in the temple.

What she did find was a lego-esque replica of Man Mo Temple that is available for purchase, ready to be assembled for the enjoyment of all.
